GIONEE Marathon M5 Plus
Smartphone was launched in December 2015, comes with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED
capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at a pixel
density of 368 pixels per inch. The screen is also protected by a Scratch
Resistant display.
The phone is 8.4-mm thin, and tips the scale at
208 grams. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6753
processor and it comes with 3 GB of RAM. What this means is the processor has
Octa cores in the CPU and 3 GB of RAM ensures the phone runs smoothly with
multiple applications open simultaneously. The GIONEE Marathon M5 Plus also
packs in a graphics processor, and 64 GB of internal storage which can be
expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card.

and is powered by a 5020 MAH battery. It’s a Dual SIM Smartphone, and
connectivity options on the GIONEE Marathon M5 Plus include, GPS, HotSpot, Wifi,

The main camera on the GIONEE Marathon M5 Plus
is a 13 MP shooter with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Geo-tagging, Touch
Focus, Digital Zoom, Video Recording. The smartphone also has a Front Facing
Camera capable of shooting 5 MP selfies.

build, Dual SIM (Micro SIM) Dual standby smartphone, GIONEE Marathon M5 Plus. GIONEE
Marathon M5 plus runs on Amigo 3.1 OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop
and supports 4G connectivity on both the SIM’s. The Smartphone comes with a
huge 6 inch HD Super AMOLED Multi touch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels’ resolution,
368 PPI pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from
scratches. This device is powered by Octacore Mediatek MT6753 processor, Mali
T720 Graphics engine and a big 3GB RAM, where many cores and big RAM facilitate
that numerous tasks can run parallel to each other without slowing down the
User Interface.

Battery, that is expected to give a backup of 2 days and a standby time of 829
hours. It supports fast charging and can be fully charged in under two hours.
It features double charging chips that allow users to charge it quickly without
overheating. The company has also worked on saving power consumed by both chips
and the screen respectively. The smartphone will alert users about apps that
drain the smartphone's battery. To capture memorable moments of your life, this
device is equipped with a high resolution 13 MP Rear camera that gives clear
and crisp pictures and a 5MP Front Facing Camera for selfies and video calling.
The main Camera comes with many features like Digital image stabilization, AF
Phase Detection, Auto Flash, Continuous Shooting, Exposure compensation, Face
detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, Touch to
focus and White balance presets.
GIONEE Marathon M5 plus
comes with a host of connectivity options like 4G, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, WiFi
hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro USB (Type C). On the memory front, it comes with
64GB Internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB via SD card, which is more
than enough to store a wide range of photographs, songs and videos. The device
comes with a fingerprint scanner in the home button, which the company claims
can unlock the phone in 0.38 seconds. Users can store up to five fingerprints
on the phone via scanner. Other sensors inbuilt in the phone are Proximity
Sensor, Light sensor and Accelerometer. It comes in 2 color options- Gold and
Silver.
